EMMA
DIRECTOR
Emma (RAD RTS) is an accomplished and experienced ballet teacher, with qualifications in Ballet Teaching Studies through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) in London. Emma has also studied a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Education through UNSW and gained experience through the intensive study of various dance styles, anatomy and child education. Emma has been a Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies mentor through the Royal Academy of Dance and looks forward to continuing this in the future and upholding her 100% success rate in her students results. As a registered RAD teacher, Emma has taught dance for 12 years in some of Sydney's most prestigious dance schools, specialising in classical ballet, jazz, contemporary and musical theatre.
Emma has previously owned and directed a well-known dance school in the Central West, and continues to remain a principal choreographer and mentor for aspiring students in that region. Emma's passion is in teaching students of all ages and ability, whether that is building on the talent of experienced students or inspiring that first love of dance in beginners. Emma's previous students have gone on to have successful careers in dance and the performing arts, graduating from prestigious schools such as Juilliard, Rambert and WAAPA and performing as part of international Dance companies.
Through Empire Performing Arts, Emma hopes to grow in her students a passion and love for dance. She wishes to inspire them through creativity and knowledge in a nurturing environment.
Opening Empire Performing Arts has allowed Emma to fulfill her dream of opening a dance studio that provides a well-rounded education in the performing arts, whilst fostering each student’s individual goals through education, encouragement and empowerment.
